Jim Blanchard (jblanchard)

I got started in photography at the age of 10 when my Godmother gave me a little Kodak Instamatic Camera (one that used the flashcubes). Being the weird kid I was, I immediately started shooting in black & white and taking more abstract photos rather than the usual family vacation shots. Around 1993 I took a class in college and learned darkroom techniques and started developing my own film and began doing some commercial work for bands and such. In 2004 I went digital and I officially started my business: Jim's Images. I do Landscape, Portrait, Product and Wildlife Photography for the most part, but I'll take on just about any assignment that crosses my path except weddings. Leave those to the specialists.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy what you see.
